English offer: Open Gathering
We welcome you to our English-speaking gathering, which is constructed in the exact same way as our Norwegian «åpent treff». As of now, the gathering is located in Oslo at Frivillighetens hus, but we are hoping to expand to other places as well.
What’s in it for me?
During an open gathering, you meet other people who share similar experiences. The gathering is an informal and free meeting space where participants can share, listen, and support each other, as well as get information about the activities and services that Bipolarforeningen (The Norwegian Bipolar Association) offers. Participation is voluntary, and you decide whether you want to partake in the conversation or just listen.
The meeting is open to anyone who has experiences with bipolar disorder and to relatives or friends. It is hosted by trained peer supporters (likepersoner) from Bipolarforeningen.
Age limit: 18 years. People aged 15 to 17 may attend together with a guardian.
No registration is needed, just show up! :):
Due to the buildings access control system, it will not be possible to enter after the meeting starts. Please be on time. You’ll be greeted by one of the hosts at the door.
Want to help?
We are looking for volunteers to help us lead the gatherings. Submit this form and we’ll be in touch soon.
